Hey guys, I hope you're doing well. Let's talk about watering your lawn, how many days per week you should be watering, and how many minutes? its important to understand how much water your lawn needs. I'm going to tell you right now. If somebody tells you this is how many days you need to be watering and they haven't been on your lawn, do not listen, I know the news tells you how many days I know your professional brother in law tells you how many days you should be watering. You need to figure that out for yourself. You need to look at your grass and most importantly, look at your soil. If you have perfect conditions, a really good soil, yes, water way less days, way more minutes to build that nice deep water penetration. So you're training the roots of the grass to go nice and deep so that it does much better and heat. However, if you have a ton of sand, why in the world would you water only a couple of days a week and for a ton of minutes because it is soaking so deep. You are wasting water. There's absolutely zero chance Your grass is going to get it that deep sand tends to dry out much faster as well. So only watering two days a week in sand it is going to dry up and scorch your lawn. So I would rather if it's sand, cut the minutes down slightly and add a day or two a week. I'm not recommending watering seven days a week.

Don't get me wrong, I would never recommend that. However, you need to look at your soil type. On the flip side if you have a bunch of clay, the same thing, especially if that clay has not absorbed water. It does not if it's a dry clay it does not absorb nearly the amount of water as wet clay. So you're probably getting a lot of surface runoff especially if you're on a hill. So clay or sand. It's much different. You're going to want to add a day or two and cut the minutes down. Hope this helps. If you have any questions, let us know. Otherwise, have a good day.
