Do I Have to Sign a Contract?
No! We do not require you to sign a contract for any of our services. We believe in working with people who want our services because they know we do good work, not because we locked them into a contract.
Are Your Treatments Safe for My Pets?
Yes! The products we use are organic and safe for pets. We do still recommend keeping pets off the yard for at least an hour though to give it time to dry.
How Many Treatments Do You Provide?
We offer a 7-treatment package, and our applications are spaced at around 5-6 weeks in between each treatment. These treatments can include liquid fertilization, grub and billbug killers, and even a liquid aeration application.
What is Liquid Aeration?
Liquid aerators contain natural compounds that break down compacted soil, increasing its ability to absorb water, nutrients, and oxygen. Unlike mechanical aeration, liquid aeration doesn’t leave behind plugs of soil or require any physical disruption to the lawn. It's especially effective for lawns with shallow compaction and can be applied throughout the growing season to maintain soil health.

Homeowners in Millcreek, Utah can expect a professional lawn and pest management program from Holmes Lawn & Pest. Our 7-step program is tailored to the specific needs of your lawn for a personal lawn care approach that will be optimized to the conditions of your turf. Whether your lawn is overrun by weeds, lacking in nutrients, infested with pests, or just generally thin and patchy, our lawn care services in Millcreek will help.
Fertilization is the most important thing you can do for a healthy lawn. Our trained technicians understand the science behind providing your grass with the nutrients it needs to thrive. Lawns in Millcreek, UT face varying soil types, seasonal changes, and other challenges that can leave your grass dull and patchy.
Fertilization replenishes essential nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, promoting deep root development, lush growth, and a rich green color. Without proper fertilization, your lawn may be more susceptible to weeds, pests, and diseases, as weakened grass struggles to compete in harsh conditions. Our expert team designs fertilization plans tailored to your lawn’s specific requirements, ensuring it stays healthy year-round while improving your property’s curb appeal.
Weed control is essential for maintaining a healthy and visually appealing lawn, which is why we offer weed control services in Millcreek, UT in conjunction with our fertilization service. Holmes specializes in keeping your yard free of invasive plants that compete with your grass for nutrients, water, and sunlight.
Weeds can quickly overrun your lawn, weakening its overall health and making it more susceptible to pests and diseases. Common weeds in Millcreek, UT, such as dandelions, crabgrass, and thistle, can thrive in the local climate if not effectively managed. To combat these intruders, we focus on both grassy weed removal and broadleaf weed control at various stages of their growth.
Pest control is a critical component of maintaining a thriving lawn, but many homeowners overlook the damage caused by lawn pests and the underlying issues that may be attracting them. Lawn pests like mosquitoes, boxelder bugs, chinch bugs, and others can wreak havoc on your grass, causing brown patches and weakened roots that make your lawn vulnerable to further stress.
Beyond the visible damage, pests can disrupt the ecosystem of your yard, potentially attracting other unwelcome visitors like birds or rodents. Without proper pest control, these invaders can turn your peaceful lawn into a headache that will take a lot of time and money to deal with.
White grubs and billbug larvae are among the most harmful lawn pests in Millcreek, UT. These beetle larvae feed on grass roots and stems, which can cause grass to turn brown, become thin, and even completely die-off if left untreated. Our preventative treatments target these pests before they have a chance to establish themselves, safeguarding your lawn’s health and resilience.
Liquid aeration is a game-changing service that improves your lawn’s health by enhancing soil structure and root development without the need for traditional core aeration methods. Using specialized liquid formulas, we loosen compacted soil to allow water, air, and nutrients to penetrate deeply through the soil and down to the roots. This process encourages stronger, healthier grass growth and helps your lawn recover from heavy use or seasonal stress. Ideal for the clay-heavy soils common in Millcreek and the Salt Lake area, liquid aeration is both effective and convenient.
